We brought our Gus home in October 2019. We were both in shock that the day was actually here as we’d dreamt of owning Ridgeback, specifically a Zejak for a few years. Jackie was supportive and informative from day one and still is to this day.
Gus is everything we could have ever dreamt of and more. He fits the breed description perfectly and is beautiful in nature as well as looks. He’s a total celebrity down our village high street and we’re stopped constantly to talk about him and he laps up the attention. This is our first Ridgeback but we could not imagine ever being without one now, nor can we imagine ever getting one that’s not a Zejak. We can’t wait to add another one to the family in a couple of years time.
I am a canine behaviourist and Gus has proved to be the perfect stooge and business partner, saving a few severe cases from being put to sleep by helping me rehabilitate them and showing them how to be dogs again. Truly a special boy.
Gus is our absolute day and night and we are forever grateful to Jackie for the privilege of owning such a superb hound.
