Ridgebacks make great family pets, they will live happily with other pets as well as long as they are trained not to chase!

Many of our owners have resident cats when they buy from us, we have never heard of them having any problems, the same goes for people starting a family when they have an older Ridgeback, there is never an issue with this, as Ridgebacks are intelligent dogs that will decide that if you are happy, then they are happy too!

The only thing most Ridgebacks don’t do though, is retrieve, so if you want a mad happy retriever for your kids entertainment don’t get a Ridgeback!!!
